Incight’s Employment Program focuses on helping people with disabilities succeed in the workforce by coaching job seekers to prepare for employment, network, and make connections with employers, while helping companies offer a more inviting and inclusive workplace.
We connect job seekers with employers at three distinct events: Live Resume, Tapping Fresh Talent Career Expo, and Meet Business. At our Empowerment Trainings, job seekers prepare for their job search with workshops on networking, resume writing, disclosing their disability, and more, including discovering what may be holding them back. Our Internship Program provides training and stipends for workers to enter the job force through internships. And Incight’s Corporate Culture Training is disability awareness and inclusion like you’ve never heard before.

From: Why Portland Employers Go to Job Fairs (And You Should Too)
A job fair is an opportunity to do 20-30 information interviews in a day. It is a way to see the face of a company and find out what types of jobs different companies have available. It is also an opportunity to ask questions about positions, get information on the application process, receive feedback on your resume and learn how to make your application stand out and appeal to a particular company.
